The big winner last week in the Nielson TV Ratings was the King of Ratings, the Super Bowl. This years matchup between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants on Fox helped seal the largest Super Bowl audience and the 2nd most watched U.S. program second only to the M*A*S*H finally.
Overall, Fox was the big winner last week. Besides the Super Bowl, Fox also scored big with American Idol, the Moment of Truth, and House to claim the top 7 overall slots in the ratings. Following behind was the season premier of ABC's Lost. (source)
