Today, as you may well know, is April 20th. To smokers that means 420 day, the unofficial holiday of smokers. We thought it appropriate to honor the holiday with the classic movie Dude, Where's My Car? featuring a young Stifler (Seann William Scott) and Demi Moore's boy toy, Ashton Kutcher.

Also, keep an eye out for an early acting performance by Jennifer Garner as one of the Wilmas.

About Dude, Where's My Car?

Jesse (Ashton Kutcher) and Chester (Seann William Scott) awaken with hangovers and no memory of how they got there. Their house is filled with containers of pudding, and there's an angry message from their twin girlfriends Wilma (Marla Sokoloff) and Wanda (Jennifer Garner) on the answering machine. They emerge from their home to find Jesse's car missing, and with it their girlfriends' one year anniversary presents. This prompts Jesse to ask the film's title question: "Dude, where's my car?"

We're are huge fans of the Coen Bros work ever since we were struck by 1987's Raising Arizona and their follow up the 1990 sleeper Miller's Crossing. If you haven't had a chance be sure to watch the Coen's Oscar winning picture No Country for Old Men. Not only is it their best movie yet it is one of the best we have seen. It is an instant classic.

Can Will Ferrell win with Semi-pro?

Semi-pro is your standard Will Ferrell sports movie that (sadly) Ferrell seems stuck in making at the moment. For the die-hard Ferrell fans and SNL alum you'll enjoy the goofiness. For anyone who is passing on the flick because they think Semi-pro is a routine Will Ferrell comedy than your guess is correct. Semi-pro plays out like a water-downed Blades of Glory that substitutes the ice for the basketball court. It's failure is that tries too hard to be a sports movie with heart like Slap Shot and less like the mindless Will Ferrell skit it should be. Instead we are treated to a mix of Anchor Man and Talladega Nights without the guidance of Judd Apatow.

Sadly, there are not a lot of surprises that come out of Semi-pro. If you have seen the previews for the movie than you know everything there is to know about Jackie Moon and his attempt to get his ABA Flint Tropics into the NBA. You already know most of the punchlines, too. Basically it is 60 minutes of Will Ferrell acting over the top and cocky followed by a fall from grace and a last attempt for glory.

Even though I am a fan of Will, I do believe it is time he sat down and started to retool his empire. I hate to say it but the heaviest laughs from Jackie Moon are the Old Spice and Bud Light commercials showing across the Internet. Judging by the very disappointing $15 Million opening weekend for Semi-pro (compared to Talladega's $40+ weekend) it would seem that Ferrell's fans are a little timid as well.

The good news is that Semi-pro does a great job in capturing the wild ABA style of the 70's. From the wild hair and clothes to the antics of the ABA (yes, that bear wrestling thing did happen), Semi-pro takes a page out of Ron Burgundy's world. Plus, it is still better than Bewitched! (rating: 2.5/5 Stars)

The new thriller Vantage Point staring Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox took the number one slot at the box office this weekend beating out the action flick Jumper. Oscar Nominated movies such as Juno and No Country for Old Men also continued to do well with audiences.

The independent movie Juno with a budget of around $6.5 Million has already grossed over $130 Million in theaters and shows no signs of slowing down.

"Juno," meanwhile, tied at No. 7 with "Be Kind Rewind," both reporting $4.1 million. After 12 weeks, Fox Searchlight's teen comedy has earned $130.4 million, easily the most popular release among the arthouse-oriented films vying for best picture. It will also compete for director (Jason Reitman), actress (Ellen Page), and original screenplay (Diablo Cody).

The drama "There Will Be Blood" jumped two places to No. 10 with $2.6 million and has a total of $35 million after nine weeks. The oil saga received eight nominations, sharing the lead with "No Country For Old Men," which earned $2.3 million in its 16th week, rising two to No. 12. The haul for the gritty western rose to $64.2 million. Both were produced by Viacom's Paramount Vantage and Walt Disney Co's Miramax Films.

The other best picture nominees are "Michael Clayton," which is now out on DVD after a disappointing $48 million theatrical run, and the wartime drama "Atonement," whose total rose to $49.4 million after a $1.2 million weekend. (source)

K.I.T.T. returns to the screen as a Ford Mustang this time instead of the Ponitac Firebird Trans Am.

This full episode of the new Knight Rider is the entire show and runs 1 hour, 20 minutes long. Val Kilmer stepped in as the voice of K.I.T.T. (Kilmer was a last-minute replacement for Will Arnett, who allegedly backed out due to corporate sponsor problems. Hint: he does ads for GM)

"Knight Rider" scored big in the ratings with an average of 12.7 million viewers between 9 and 11 p.m. Its 5.0 rating/12 share among adults 18-49 was the best score for a TV movie since March 2005's "Their Eyes Were Watching God." (

Dexter, a drama series based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay and adapted for television by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter James Manos, Jr. The show stars Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under) as the title character Dexter Morgan, a Miami-based serial killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood pattern analyst.

Dexter originally showed on Showtime, the paycable network. Due to the writer's strike their cousin station, CBS, has picked up the first Season of Dexter. 12 episodes will be shown on Sundays starting Feb. 17th.

A local weatherman is found dead the morning after a tryst and his lover is charged with his murder despite her claims of innocence. Shawn (James Roday) is intrigued and becomes a defense consultant in order to gain access to the case.

Shawn's motorcycle has been impounded, so he and Gus go down to the courthouse to pay the ticket and free the bike. While there, Shawn notices a sweet woman picking up a piece of trash in the hallway. Back at the Psych office, Shawn sees the same woman, Sandra Panitch, on TV. It turns out, she's on trial for the brutal murder of a favorite local TV weatherman, Jackson Hale. She is accused of having sex with him at the studio, then bludgeoning him over the head. But from what Shawn saw of her earlier, he's immediately convinced of her innocence. And from what he sees on TV now, he knows her bumbling, insecure lawyer, Adam Hornstock, needs their help to win the case.

I think he feels sympathy for her when she’s really all alone and has to diagnose herself constantly and things go from bad to worse. They understand each other. They’re similar in that they’re both loners and strong-willed, and there’s this nice little subplot of chemistry and sexual tension.”

The police have called Shawn and Gus down to the television studio. There has been a murder on the set of the telenovela "Explosion Gigantesca de Romance," Gus' favorite soap opera. On the set of Santa Barbara's most popular Spanish soap opera, life imitates art when a fictional murder turns real, making everyone involved a suspect. Shawn solves the crime from the inside while inadvertently becoming one of the show's stars.

But when they get to the set, Lassiter says Juliet jumped the gun calling them and the case is open and shut, in fact the whole thing was caught on tape. One of the actors, Jorge Gama-Lobo stabbed the victim during one of the scenes. But Jorge insists someone switched the prop knife for a real one without his knowledge

The rain stops and people emerge from hiding as rumors of a tank battalion traveling west spread through the community; Jake organizes four groups to be sent out in all directions to find out what happened.

A dying man who may have radiation burns is found and he has a mysterious warning; Dale discovers a train loaded with food outside town; and more is learned about which major cities have been attacked.

The electricity comes back on and the telephones deliver a prerecorded message from the government; fires menace the town including its library; and U.S. ICBMs appear to be launched at the end of the episode.

An EMP renders most electronics useless. Jake runs into an old friend turned enemy, Mitchell Cafferty, who has stolen food and horses from the town, and later holds Jake hostage with a gun before being subdued.

Jericho Episode 7 - Long live the Mayor

Emily's father, Jonah Prowse, comes to bail out Mitchell Cafferty and agrees to return the stolen food and to stay away from Jericho, but their negotiations go awry; Heather finally reveals her feelings for Jake.

Jericho Episode 8 - Rogue River

Jake and Eric visit a neighboring town to obtain medicine for their father, encountering mercenaries from a group called Ravenwood. They convince Dr. Kenchy Dhuwhalia to return to Jericho with them to save their father's life.

Jericho Episode 9 - Crossroads

Emily dreams of Roger on the morning of her planned wedding, waking up to realize it was all a dream and Roger is most likely dead. Goetz of the Ravenwood group shows up at the Richmond farm and steals gas for the vehicles.

Jericho Episode 10 - Red Flag

Shipments of food and leaflets from China are dropped over Jericho by Russian airplanes, causing residents to wonder if the food is safe to eat; Jonah Prowse creates further trouble for the town, and a member of the community is killed.

After Gracie's murder, Gray Anderson heads a lynch mob and uses the town's anger for his own political gain; Mitchell Cafferty claims that Jonah Prowse is the culprit, but Mayor Green is dubious

Jake and Jimmy confront Hawkins about the fake FBI badges, leading to Robert telling Jake about his past and what he really knows. Meanwhile Mimi comes to terms with running a household and Gail tries to help Johnston.

After the Jericho men from New Bern return without Eric, Jake enlists the help of Hawkins to go to the neighbouring town to find his brother. Meanwhile Stanley returns to find Sean in his house and Johnston helps Mary.

Several residents from New Bern try to steal salt from Jericho's mine and shots are fired. Meanwhile Johnston travels to New Bern looking for Jake and Eric and Hawkins hatches a plan to make an explosive escape attempt.

Friends become enemies when Jericho's neighboring town of New Bern begins bombing the streets of Jericho in a battle for resources.
